Vittore Crivelli from Venice to the Marche region

Masters of the Renaissance

The exhibition, located in Sarnano, an important center of Macerata known for its historical and artistic value, it is proposed to showcase a collection of works by Vittore Crivelli, his brother Charles and other painters and sculptors active centers in the inner Marche in the second half of XVth century.

The event is linked to successful exhibitions for the past decade in San Severino Marche in the fifteenth century, and Camerino, Fabriano and is dedicated to the great art historian Pietro Zampetti.

 Next to some of the greatest masterpieces will be presented by Vittore Crivelli many works, both Venetian master, as other contemporary artists, studied for the first time or poorly known because outside the Italian territory preserved in museums and private collections.

Trails and routes will be set up in places that house the works of Victor and Renaissance masters of the Apennines, which involve a number of inland towns of Macerata and Fermo.
