classici_paesaggio_7the province of Ascoli Piceno occupies the southern part of the Marche Region, between Aso and Tronto rivers. Its main feature is the extreme variety of landscapes, from the beaches of the Adriatic to the Appennine mountain chain of the Sibillini and Monti della Laga, with peaks of over 2000 meters altitude.  The landscape is dominated by rolling hills dotted with small villages of medieval origin.

the Province of Fermo, established in 2009, has an area of ​​less than 900 square kilometers, so it is a limited area but with a strong sense of belonging and identity due to a socio-economic mainly covered with a craft of which are representative of small districts companies, such as footwear and the hat district. The Fermo area is also renowned for its excellent agricultural production, concentrated mainly along the Valdaso and in mountainous areas.

 The typical hilly landscape of this area inspired the works of Osvaldo Licini, great master of contemporary art, who was born in Monte Vidon Corrado.
